OUR story
It All Started with a Window
We discovered a forgotten space, untouched for over a decade.
Among the dust and silence, there was a window — and a view that made everything feel open and peaceful.
For a moment, it felt like being above the clouds.
We wanted to share that feeling with others.
“Gureum” means “cloud” in Korean.
And so, GUREUM was born —
a place to eat, drink, and unwind, with a little feeling of being above the clouds.

Made with experience. Inspired by the world.
Our food began with two people —GUREUM owner Felicia Park, and Mrs. Han with more than 40 years of cooking experience.
Together, they spent countless hours cooking, tasting, adjusting, and starting over, searching for the flavors that felt right for GUREUM.
Inspired by the food around us in Cebu, and by Felicia’s experiences living in Korea, Canada, and the United States, our menu brings together flavors and memories from different places and cultures.
We are not trying to define GUREUM by one particular cuisine.
We simply want to make food that is delicious, thoughtful, and a little different — food we would be happy to share at our own table.
